February Meeting 2/12/15

Our club meeting will be at the Dallas World Aquarium Thursday night for 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Our speaker is Ret Talbot, who is known for his many articles supporting the hobby. Clarifying fact from fiction, his reports show what he digs up and questions ambiguous statements by those that would try to squash the trading of corals and fish. Through travel and research, he seeks the truth about what is actually going on.

The Dallas World Aquarium is kind enough to invite us to their facility again, and makes for a beautiful evening venue with the opportunity to see the many aquariums they care for. Everyone gets excited, but we must emphasize that your children must remain with you at all times and behave or you will be asked to leave. How we act as a group affects our standing with the DWA so let’s not spoil that relationship.

There is a fee to park in the lot. $7 via a pay station. There is no entry fee for the night, it’s free.

Refreshments and cash bar, and we’ll have a dry goods raffle that night.

One more rule: Do not bring any frags to give to others at the event. No bags of water are permitted on the premises, this is a quarantine issue.
