http://dfwmas.org/NewsLetter/newsletter.html Hey Marc, nice job on the newsletter! I just now saw your post since I was off Friday and didn't seem to have the time to peruse the forums over the weekend. Hopefully you'll be able to find a volunteer to take over the job since I know how time-consuming it can be. Look on the bright side: at least you didn't have to get it printed, collate, fold, stamp, address and mail 400 copies like in the good ole days.
I keep meaning to dig out all the old copies I have and get them scanned so we can post them on the website. It would add a nice bit of history to the club. I don't currently have a scanner but keep meaning to get one so maybe this will finally motivate me to get over to Fry's and get one. Chris Curtis
North Irving old newslettersHi Chris,
All the old newsletters do exist in pdf format. They were on the old website. Barry Barry Fronczak
I've got quite a few of the older newsletters on my harddrive, but nothing going back more than a couple of years. Chris, if you have a bunch of older ones, I'm sure someone in the club has a scanner and would be willing to start building up a library of these. I'm sure others would find them interesting.
I did send an email notification to all DFWMAS members announcing the new newsletter. If they didn't get it, they need to update the email account connected with their message board name. Additionally, I always put "DFWMAS" in the subject line so that it can be added to their "friends" filter.
